JoMa Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization formed to increase awareness of breast cancer for African American and other Minority women in the central Florida community. We hope to serve as an equalizer that will make a difference by spreading the word and raising awareness of breast cancer throughout minority communities.
We intend to accomplish this by offering free community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, where not available. A percentage of our funding supports our mission to help women in our community cope with breast cancer as a life threatening disease. All our services are in the efforts to increase the odds for survival by early detection and to raise awareness to hopefully find a cure for this deadly disease.
